OK. So firstly, I don't write a lot of reviews though I do purchase quite a bit from Amazon. I've been looking for a leather MC jacket for a few months now and decided that 2 criteria were most important to me (1) vintage/retro. I didn't want that old (in spirit) Harley dude or the yuppie/hipster that just got a leather jacket. I wanted something with a Cafe Racer 50's/60's feel/look that and that didn't look idiotic in bright yellow/green that you see a lot of wanna be's riding around wearing usually on Jap sports bikes (2) price/value. I was originally leaning towards a Dainese Ducati type jacket, an AlpineStars Velocity or an Icon Daytona Flattrack retro all of which are immensely nice leathers. However, each one of the above three are minimum lf $450 - $500 and up depending on sub-style. I've been spending a lot of MC accessories (and bikes - hee hee) and have a mortage, 3 cars and 2 kids. I needed a really nice 3.5 season jacket on a relative budget and though it unwise at this juncture to drop 5 C-notes on a leather jacket. I also own a perfectly functional Joe Rocket textile 4-season jacket that works great but that I really no longer like the look of.
