After realizing my light weight leather was in bad shape, I bought this as a replacement. I liked the idea of the armor, the venting, and the waterproofing. The sizes are pretty consistent across all the brand products, so I already knew what size I needed. After receiving this in the mail, I rode my bike into work - a 75 mile round trip. The fall morning was a bit crisp, so I wore my hoodie under it, just in case. It was about 53 degrees (f) and it there was a drizzle, just enough to get damp everywhere. It sprinkled, and I sweated. By the time I got to work, I was still warm, dry, and rather happy about the new jacket. It was exactly as advertised and way beyond my expectations. Then the afternoon rains came. Usually if the weather is `30% rain' - thirty percent of the county will get hit. Yesterday it was 60%. I didn't know that 60% of all the rain in the county was going to target me.
