Elbow pads are a worthwhile addition and don't shift around too much. The seams on the jacket are excellent workmanship - those Pakistani kids sure can sew! Zippered vents with flaps on front and back of jacket for extra ventilation. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, sizes run small. BE SURE TO ADD AT LEAST ONE SIZE. Normally I would have ordered 2XL and for this item I ordered 3XL and the jacket fits fine although they use a Euro-Shirt type pattern that is meant to fit snug around the shoulder and hips. Very pleased with purchase - Looks good, fits and I hope I never need the armor!
